1 Program Description

Effictive April 10, 2026 -Right to Life of Central California ("RTLCC," "we," "us," or "our") offers a mobile messaging program (the "Program") that delivers text messages to subscribers regarding pro-life events, volunteer opportunities, community updates, prayer reminders, fundraising campaigns, and organizational news. By opting in to the Program, you agree to these SMS/Text Messaging Terms of Service ("SMS Terms").

2 Consent and Opt-In

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to the Program, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated promotional and informational text messages from RTLCC at the mobile number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods, services, or making any donation to RTLCC.

You may opt in by:

  • Completing and submitting the SMS sign-up form on our website (righttolifeca.org)
  • Texting a designated keyword (e.g., "JOIN" or "LIFE") to our short code or phone number
  • Providing verbal or written consent at an RTLCC event, booth, or outreach location
  • Checking the SMS opt-in box on any RTLCC registration or donation form

After opting in, you will receive a confirmation message. You must reply with the confirmation keyword (if prompted) to complete enrollment.

3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to two messages per month, though frequency may increase during special campaigns, events, or urgent community updates. RTLCC reserves the right to adjust message frequency at any time.

4 How to Opt Out

You may opt out of the Program at any time by texting STOP to the short code or phone number from which you received messages. You may also text END, CANCEL, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to opt out.

Upon receipt of your opt-out request, you will receive a single confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll.

6 Costs and Charges

Message and data rates may apply.

RTLCC does not charge for sending text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees or data usage fees depending on your plan. RTLCC is not responsible for any charges incurred by your carrier. Please contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

7 Supported Carriers

The Program is supported on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service availability may vary by carrier and device.

8 Privacy and Data Use

Your privacy matters to us. The information you provide when opting in to the Program (including your mobile phone number) will be used solely for the purpose of delivering messages related to RTLCC programs, events, and updates.

We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or any personal information collected through the Program with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We may share your information with our service provider, Twilio, Inc., solely for the purpose of delivering text messages on our behalf. 9 Message Content

Messages sent through the Program may include, but are not limited to:

  • Event announcements and reminders (e.g., Golf for Life, Christmas Dinner & Auction, 40 Days for Life)
  • Volunteer opportunity alerts and sign-up reminders
  • Community outreach updates and prayer requests
  • Fundraising and donation campaign information
  • Organizational news and impact stories
  • Educational content and advocacy updates

10 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Program is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. RTLCC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, timeliness, or accuracy of messages sent through the Program. RTLCC shall not be liable for any delays or failures in message delivery resulting from carrier issues, technical difficulties, or events beyond our reasonable control.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RTLCC, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Program, including but not limited to damages resulting from delayed, undelivered, or misdirected messages.

12 Modifications to Terms

RTLCC reserves the right to modify these SMS Terms at any time. Any material changes will be communicated via text message or posted on our website. Your continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.

13 Governing Law

These SMS Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these SMS Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Fresno County, California.

14 Compliance with Applicable Law

RTLCC operates the Program in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) guidelines, and all applicable federal and California state laws governing text messaging and consumer protection. Messages will not be sent during TCPA quiet hours (before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM in the recipient's local time zone).

15 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years of age to participate in the Program. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you must have parental or guardian consent to opt in.
