SMS/Text Messaging

When you opt in to receive text messages from RTLCC, we collect your phone number, name, consent record, and the date and time of your opt-in. This information is used to send you the text messages you signed up for, which may include:

• Event-day updates (e.g., Golf for Life tournament alerts)
• Marketing and promotional messages about RTLCC events, campaigns, and initiatives
• Business and organizational information
• Two-factor authentication and account verification

Your messages are delivered through Twilio, our third-party messaging provider, which processes your phone number solely to deliver messages on our behalf.

• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This includes all data collected via SMS opt-in, including phone numbers and consent records.
• Text message opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party.
• Phone numbers collected for SMS programs are retained only for the duration of the program (e.g., through the event date) and are deleted within 30 days of the program’s conclusion, unless you opt in to a future program or have an active account requiring two-factor authentication.
• You may opt out of marketing and informational messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@righttolifeca.org.

Data Storage and Security

We maintain secure storage practices and update security measures regularly to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
