Sidewalk Story: Kiana

Kiana was five months pregnant when she connected with LIFEHOUSE. What began as one moment of help became months of steady support.

LIFEHOUSE volunteers and community members at a baby shower

Kiana was five months pregnant when she connected with LIFEHOUSE. She and her partner were working hard, but they were stretched thin and unsure how they would prepare for their baby.

The LIFEHOUSE team stepped in with maternity clothes, rent help, regular check-ins, a baby shower, and employment resources. The goal was simple: make sure Kiana knew she was not alone.

After her baby arrived, the team continued walking with the family. That steady presence is what LIFEHOUSE is built for: practical help, compassionate follow-up, and hope that stays close.
