COVID 19 UPDATES
While we are sheltering in place, there are still ways you can stay informed and involved with Right to Life!
In spite of these shutdowns, Right to Life is vigorously continuing its mission to educate the public on the public policy ramifications of the abortion debate, and to reach out to women who are considering or who have experienced abortion.
What’s Open and Ways to Stay Informed
1.Watch our Facebook Live/Instagram educational videos for students and adults.
Our executive director, John Gerardi, is producing a regular video series on abortion history and apologetics, aimed towards young people (roughly 7th grade level and upward) and lifelong learners who want to learn about the history of legalized abortion and apologetics in defense of the right to life. Watch on Facebook, Instagram, or on our Website.
2. Listen to Right to Life Radio!
3. Read our Blogs, Newsletter, and Articles such as Stories from the Sidewalk right here on our website.
RTLCC.org is your one-stop shop for Right to Life’s educational outreach, and is filled with excellent articles giving the latest in pro-life public policy, as well as inspiring stories showcasing the work that Right to Life is performing to save children’s lives.
4. Right to Life of Central California Outreach Center
(616 N. Fulton St, Fresno)
While we are not having volunteers participate, our outreach center next to Planned Parenthood is still functioning. Our incredible employees, Linda and Monica, are outside Planned Parenthood (always maintaining an appropriate social distance) offering information and alternatives to women considering abortion. They can use your prayers, and we can use your financial support to keep them working!
Ways to Help During This Time
1. 300 Club - Less than $1 a Day Saves A Life
The 300 Club is based on a simple premise—if every pro-life supporter in our region gave less than $1 per day ($25 per month, $300 over a year), Right to Life of Central California would be able to fund all of its activities throughout the year with ease. For less than a dollar each day, you can support our life-saving sidewalk counselors, our major local radio program, and all of our incredible educational and outreach initiatives. You can sign up for the 300 Club by clicking here.
2. Shop with AmazonSmile
Did you know you can give to Right to Life when you shop on Amazon? Amazon will give a percentage of your purchase to Right to Life whenever you shop on smile.amazon.com. Just type bit.ly/rtlcc into your browser and you will be ready to shop on Amazon Smile with Right to Life of Central California as your selected non-profit.
3. Check out our Baby Registry for Moms who Chose Life!
Right to Life is helping support three brave young women whom our sidewalk advocacy employees, Linda and Monica, met outside of Planned Parenthood. These young women decided to choose life for their babies, and we want to do our part to support them through an online baby shower! To help Chase and her baby Elias Bennett, click here. To help our other two moms, Tonya and Mary, click here. All gifts are being shipped to RLCC staff, who will deliver them to these incredible young moms.
4. Donate Through Our Website
We at Right to Life have had to cancel certain fundraising events, and we need your financial support to help us bridge the gap during Coronavirus. While many families are struggling, we encourage any of our supporters who are able to support us during this time through an online donation. You can make a one-time or recurring gift, simply by going to our donate page. All contributions are tax-deductible and secure. Thank you for your generosity and kindness!
5. Obria Update
Right to Life of Central California’s subsidiary corporation, the Obria Medical Clinics of Central California, is moving into a new phase of development in 2020. After its corporate establishment and 501(c)(3) status were confirmed, we are working closely with partners in major local hospital networks who are willing to provide Obria with suitable clinical space for its work. We have had an incredibly successful campaign of fundraising for the clinic’s initial starting capital, and are on the cusp of making enormous strides in the upcoming year. We are also working on integrating Obria’s health education efforts into Right to Life of Central California’s work.
We encourage our supporters to click here to learn more about the Obria Medical Clinics of Central California, and our vision for quality, affordable prenatal healthcare to serve women throughout the San Joaquin Valley.
